The planet Klinzhai is a heavily cloud covered world. It is a high humidity planet with large, lush jungles and tropical rain forests which all combine to create a green house effect. The average planetary temperature is 20 -25 deg. higher than Earth. There are no deserts and snow only in small areas at either planetary pole. There are 3 Major and 1 minor continents as well as many numerious island chains. Temperture varies very little (15 deg.), between the planets "hot" and "cold" seasons. It rains almost every day over most of the planet and a clear day is very rare. There is an abundance of plant and widelife, all predatory and dangerous to some degree, with many being lethal. The systems sun is brighter then the Terran systems primary and further away. This results in a pinpoint of light that can be blinding if looked at even briefly. Due to atmospheric conditions this is not a great problem. Radiation from the Praxis incident has been completely cleaned up. The Homeworld was re-inhabaited Approx. 35 yrs. ago. Civil War damage from two decades ago has been completely repaired.

*Note: There has been some confusion as to the name of the Homeworld. "Qo'nos" is the same as the Human designation of their Homeworld as "Terra". The name "Klinzhai" is equivalent to the Terran Homeworld being refered to as "Earth". When a Terran refers to what the people back "Home" would say, a Klingon might ask himself/herself what would the Warriors of "Kling" say. Three different Names for the same planet, the proper designation depends on what context of speech was used. This report will refer to the Homeworld as Klinzhai.
