With the birth of the Dominion and the destabilization of the Federation and the Klingon Empire, the Rihannsu Empire, traditionally isolationist and protective, finds itself in a period of change. Some see these times and opportunity for the Rihannsu to blossom as a superior people of culture, science, and art. Others, like the Havranssu, believe in the opening of borders, the mingling of races, the ideals of migration and transformation. The Traveler spirit. The Hnoiyika, a proud but aging starship in a fleet whose principles are suddenly out of date, struggles to maintain order and peace–even when those two ideals are in conflict.
The Hnoiyika is a Star Trek-inspired chat-based simulation (one hour a week) currently accepting members. No experience necessary! Simply a healthy interest in Romulans (the Rihannsu) and their cause.

We’re not powermongers in the Empire, just ordinary Rihanha who see their duty as serving the Empire’s interests … and at every step of the way we find out how twisted those interests may become.
